This place is not worth wasting a day of your vacation. Nothing is open on Mondays/Tuesdays. First and last time here! Better off spending your day on the mainland at Hilton Head.

It is what it is which is a great open air bar on the water with awesome steaks and seafood! For the bad reviews, get over yourselves! Great attitude by the staff and easy to get to know! Don't like it, don't come back. For the rest of us, great southern fried hospitality!

The atmosphere was great. The food was authentic. My one complaint: My family came here on a day tour from Hilton Head with the buffet lunch included in our ticket price. For as much as we heard about how incredible the seafood was here, there was NONE on the buffet. The only meat was fried chicken and ham. Would have loved to try some of that legendary crab!

I added an extra star for view and atmosphere alone. There's nothing better than sitting outside drinking and watching the boats come into the marina. As for drinks, you gotta get the Scrap Iron of course...vodka, moonshine, lemon, and tea. I was sufficiently tipsy after 1...and it's 50 cents cheaper at the cash bar! For food, I got a dozen oysters, a pound of shrimp, fried okra, and the fries. The oysters were raw (which is ok but it said steamers?). The shrimp were quite delicious. The only thing was the prices didn't match up with the menu, but whatever. Just enjoy yourself and the view.

Normally a decent place, however in recent months we have seen a decline in both service and food quality. The fried flounder is always good, but had the fried green tomatoes, and they were not worth a cent. Very greasy and under cooked. French fries were also horrible, as they were undercooked, and full of grease. The service was pitiful. The one employee spent all her time talking to friends, and ignoring customers. When asked, she stated they don't have table service on weekends. I can understand if they were busy, but she had no other customers! Very disappointing, especially as I have had better service and food there in the past.. I hope this was an exception, and if I go back and see improved service, I will update this post.
